I added some information under globalization. Is there anything that anyone can think of for me to add to that section? We do have to add information about multiliteracy projects (national, international, etc.)--should that go under globalization? That's something that we'll have to research. And should we have APA format for our resources? Thoughts? -Kristin

i added a section for projects-that Gabriela suggested that we add. I just started to put in information, so feel free to add any projects that you are aware of or may have found during research... - kristin

Is someone doing the different sections that are currently not filled in? Did everyone get a chance to work on his/her part?

At the top, under "What is Multiliteracy," there is a box with a definition that extends way beyond the border of the page. Is that supposed to be in a box? If we want it in a box, is there a way to get the box to fit within the border of the page? Rhonda

I added my part of the students section, but didn't put anything under understanding how/why multiliteracies are used, because I felt this was addressed in the teaching section and didn't want to be redundant. If anyone thinks otherwise or has ideas for me, let me know. I also started looking at kind of a tangent ~ about the increase of ADHD being linked to children being used to watching tv, playing video games and computer games and then being unable to focus on books and writing, things that don't move and flash and give you constant stimulation... Let me know if anyone thinks this is worth putting in the section on students. I did some research last night on it... ~Julie

Hi Julie, I agree about the redundancy of posting in both places and removed the understanding how/why section for you. I think the ADHD component would be an interesting addition for the student section. Rhonda

Thanks Rhonda, I will add the ADHD part after my son's birthday party later today, so around 9:00 or so I will work on that ADHD section. ~ Julie

I don't know why that box extends like it does. When I was typing the info it was not a box, don't know how to remove the box. It's okay to remove the box but not the text. babs.

I decided against the ADHD section after reading more of the research because it feels more like speculation that actual facts, so I didn't put it in ~ Julie
