From WikEd
Introduction
WikEd is an internet platform that enables all users to read and modify any of the webpages within it. It offers the technology to conveniently construct knowledge from a number of sources and serves as a platform for collecting, archiving and sharing "community" knowledge about many educational psychology topics in Tom Anderson's courses. This encyclopedic knowledge about concepts, projects, technologies, and programs continues to improve with the contributions of each semester of students.
Also, the nature of "democratically" collected knowledge carries with it the problem of "unevenness of quality". However, these pages are easy to construct and the system allows anyone to update, edit, correct, question and contribute to this knowledge base. So improved quality is expected over time and contributors.
- WikEd is used for many other educational purposes, as well, see Main Page for menu.
