Electronic portfolios, or E-Portfolios, are an evolution of the more traditional portfolio assessment method. E-Portfolios may contain multiple media types, including text, audio, video, and hypertext. Systems have been developed to manage the creation and to control access to E-Portfolios that can be deployed in an institutional effort to support portfolio development. Standards for E-Portfolios and systems that support them are just starting to emerge and will likely impact design and delivery of E-Portfolios in the future. Testimonals

I use Digication website to have my students create an e-portfolio throughout the semester. With this site, I was able to monitor and control what they put on the website and we were able to critique each others work. I feel e-porfolios are a very effective way to see the progress of the students, especially from an artistic standpoint and can be used for submission to art schools. C. McCulley
